Interns; Sales and Marketing

A Sales and Marketing personnel is responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities, planning and implementing new sales plans.

Responsibilities

  • Promoting the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
  • Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
  • Writing informative and effective search engine optimised copy for the website and external blog postings.
  • Using the CRM to maximise online marketing opportunities.
  • Managing the company’s email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns.
  • Managing the organisations Social Media accounts ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms.
  • Managing the content diary for social media content.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.

Interns; Accountant - assistant

Responsibilities.

  1. Ensure the already developed standard operating accounting procedures are adhered to
  2. Budget preparation and control
  3. Work with the accountant and ensure accurate petty cash management
  4. Bank reconciliation
  5. VAT control and reconciliation
  6. Payroll management
  7. Working with respective project heads to ensure accurate budget implementation
  8. Ensure the organization complies with the legal requirements including the relevant statutory deductions
  9. Prepare timely financial reports, updates, and monitoring of grants
  10. Grant Management and donor support
  11. Provide Financial Management and accounting support for the business operations of the organization
  12. Advise the management and regarding the financial situation and progress of the organization
  13. Preparation and monitoring of budgets together with the relevant project heads
  14. Arranging for external audits and overseeing the implementation of audit observations
  15. Debtors and creditors control
  16. Any other duty incidental to the financial and operational running of the organization

 

The interns will be required to have a minimum diploma qualification in Finance, Commerce and/or Economics or any related field. Interns with CPA (ii) will be an added advantage.

Interns; Agricultural field officers

Responsibilities of Agricultural officer

  • Training farmers on various aspects of farming and giving the agronomical advice of farming high valued crops.
  • Work closely with our sales team by providing outstanding customer service and support to farmers.
  • You must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm for agriculture and the ability to nurture business relationships within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Coordinate field trials, analyze results and perform other sales support activities as required
  • Directs and coordinates worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, grading, payroll, and recordkeeping.
  • Analyze market conditions to determine acreage allocations to farmers for specific crops.
  • Record information, such as production, farm management practices, and parent stock, and prepares financial and operational reports.
  • Analyzes soil to determine type and quantity of fertilizer required for maximum production.

 

This role will enable you to develop knowledge of our products and gain experience interacting directly with farmers and other industry players.

Responsibilities

  1. Promote the company and all its products to our customers through different communication channels like using the phone and social media platforms.
  2. Enhance the company’s reputation by providing professional, prompt and effective assistance to customers.
  3. Handling and resolving customers’ issues promptly through call, email, and approved social media platforms while maintaining the set quality standards of customer service delivery.
  4. Understanding customer needs and providing efficient feedback to a Supervisor.
  5. Make follow-ups from the relevant person to ensure that escalated customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  6. Listening to the customers’ needs and assisting them in making a well-informed decision
